Louisville AIDS Walk (September)
The Louisville AIDS Walk is Kentucky's largest fundraiser to support direct services for those who are HIV positive. The Community Outreach Team at Saint Andrew UCC, Louisville recruits volunteers to walk and collect funds for this cause. Community Hunger Walk (September)
The Community Hunger Walk is sponsored by the Kentuckiana Interfaith Community of which Saint Andrew UCC, Louisville is a member. We participate in this walk each year. This walk benefits the Dare to Care Food Bank, 16 area community ministries, food banks and a specific World Hunger project selected each year. It is noteworthy that the youth of Saint Andrew UCC, Louisville actively participate in this annual walk. For more information visit The Hunger Walk website.
Multiple Sclerosis Walk (April)
We continue to walk to offer our support to our local Kentucky-Southeast Indiana Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The proceeds of this walk go toward scientific research efforts being made to find solutions and cures for those who suffer from this life-threatening disease.
