Music Ministry: Our Choirs
Music is a very important element in the life and worship of Saint Andrew, UCC, Louisville. That is how we give songful praise to God and how we lift up the spirits of our congregation. We strive for excellence in the Music Ministry and have many opportunities for music volunteers.
Our Sanctuary Choir is open to adults and youth. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00 PM, September through May. This is when we prepare choral anthems for most of our worship services, as well as special events at Saint Andrew UCC, Louisville and elsewhere.
Our Children's/Youth Choir is open to participants ages 4 to 13, as we prepare anthems to use regularly in Sunday Morning Sanctuary Worship.
Our Adult Handbell Choir is open to adults and older youth with previous handbell experience. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, September through May. This choir "rings" regularly for our Sunday Morning Sanctuary Worship services.
Our Children's/Youth Handbell Choir is open to grades 3-12. It meets for rehearsals on Sunday afternoons, as a part of our SAUCC.COM children and youth program.

Saint Andrew UCC celebrates its
sixth year as an
Open and Affirming (ONA) congregation!
We welcome everybody (as Jesus would!); and "discerning the signs of our times," we are particularly intentional about extending a special welcome to, and full affirmation of, folks from among the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community. For more information, see our ONA page.
