Sunday School 9:15 AM; Sanctuary Worship 10:30 AM

What time do Sunday School and Sanctuary Worship start?

We are excited that you found us, and we do hope that you will join us this Sunday!

  • We gather at 9:00 AM in the gymnasium for a light continental breakfast and opening announcements.
  • Our Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:15 AM.
  • Our Sunday Morning Sanctuary Worship service begins promptly at 10:30 AM.
  • We gather for friendship and refreshments following Morning Worship.

What about parking?

When you arrive here (2608 Browns Lane, Louisville), you may notice there are not a lot of parking spaces in the front of our complex of buildings. Most of our parking spaces are located behind the church complex.  You are also welcome to park in the smaller lot on the south side of the Sanctuary. We have three main entries: front, back, and south entry.

What about handicap accessibility?

There are handicap parking spaces in the front and the back near the doors. There are no steps to climb to come into our building. In our sanctuary, there are special locations for the placement of worshippers in wheelchairs. Hearing aid equipment is available from the ushers for the hearing impaired. Large print bulletins are available from one of our Greeters for those who have trouble reading smaller print sizes.

Does Saint Andrew UCC have a dress code?

There is no dress code, so you may dress as casually or as formally as you desire.

What does the church offer for younger children during worship time?

We do provide a nursery for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers during Sunday School and Sanctuary Worship. Older children attend our Sanctary Worship regularly with youth and adults and are included in worship with a weekly "Moment with Children" and through other activities and responsibilities. For more info, click here or look at the specific items under the "Children/Youth" tab of this website's navigator bar.

What can be expected during a First Time Visit?

First Time Visitors are requested to identify themselves by simply raising their hand when prompted at the beginning of the Sanctuary Worship service.  You will then be greeted by an usher who will give to you our special "Visitor's Brochure."  Following Sanctuary Worship, during our time for friendship and refreshments, a member of the congregation can answer your questions, honor your request to tour our facilities, and introduce you to our Pastor.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by using our on-line form or by telephoning us at (502) 452-1777, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
